>1 – We are not guaranteed an easy life. We will go through trials. We don’t just get a “Get Out of Jail Free” card because we said yes to Jesus.
– You want to know God’s will for your life? It is plain and simple. It is to know Him, love Him, and be pure and blameless in His sight (Eph. 1). How will you do those things?
– Sometimes we have hard decisions to make. God doesn’t always spell out for us what we’re supposed to do. Are we knowing Him? Loving Him? Honoring Him by being pure and blameless in His sight? Okay then. There ya go.
– You cannot replace decent common sense, logic, and godly counsel in decision-making, but you cannot rely on the world for your answers. As Christians, we have the umbrella of the Holy Spirit to guide us. Pretty darn awesome if you ask me.
– If there is something in your life you don’t like, find a way to live with it (read: patience + dignity) or change it (prayer + action). Complaining never got anyone anywhere. Did you see David, Moses, or Daniel complaining? Didn’t think so.
